Getting started
DeltaWatch makes it straightforward to monitor any webpage, API, or PDF for changes. This guide walks you through the basics.
Create your account
- Head to app.deltawatch.ing and create an account.
- You’ll land in your default workspace with an empty Watchlist.
Add your first watch
- Click Add watch in your Watchlist.
- Paste the URL you want to monitor — this can be a webpage, REST API endpoint, or a direct link to a PDF.
- Set your check interval. The free Ping plan supports 3-hour intervals; paid plans go down to 5 minutes.
- Click Save.
DeltaWatch will fetch the page immediately and store the first snapshot.
Configure notifications
- Open your watch and navigate to the Notifications tab.
- Add one or more notification channels — email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, or a custom webhook.
- Optionally add conditions to filter out noise. For example, only alert when a specific keyword appears or when the change percentage exceeds a threshold.
See the notifications guide for setup details for each channel.
See your first diff
Once a change is detected on the next check cycle, DeltaWatch will:
- Send you a notification through your configured channels.
- Store the new snapshot alongside the previous one.
- Generate a diff you can view in the History tab.
The diff viewer supports inline and side-by-side modes with word-level highlighting.
